Sunk life costs

... are very hard to admit to. A New Yorker article about throwing good money after bad.

Even when I know that I have a sunk cost, sometimes I'm too stubborn to change the course. This is especially true when its my opinion that determines if I'm "wasting my time watching a bad movie" or "enjoying myself watching a movie." The difference between these two is just so subjective. I think this monkey sums it up.
